Providing expert heating, ventilation, and air conditioning Commissioning services across Australia to all types of mechanical equipment
Jacob Treadwell and Darryl Hardman have worked together for years with a combined knowledge of the trade of over 50 years. With the joint experience, certifications and knowledge of the mechanical industry, they have created a well-rounded commissioning team capable of all aspects of the mechanical services industry.
All of our technicians are trained and have built their knowledge around understanding the processes, procedures and engineering behind our trade. This has elevated Treadies to a point where we are able to view every problem with a solution and the confidence to take a firm approach knowing we can achieve the results required for our clients.
- Functionality testing and mechanical operations inspections to ensure your system is handling load correctly.
- Air balancing of mechanical equipment
- Refrigeration equipment - Cool rooms and Freezers
- Mechanical dryers and coolers
- Water pumps
- Pressurization units
- Mechanical drive commissioning and testing
- Ventilation
Do you feel a big change in temperature from one room to the next? Are their spots in the house or commercial building that are warmer or colder than others? Air balancing aims to correct these types of airflow issues and evenly distribute temperature and required capacity throughout.
The process requires testing and modifying an existing or new HVAC system in order to deliver the optimal flow of air conditioning to every space in the building. Air balancing is an important part of planning large commercial construction projects, but the same principles can easily be applied to individual homes or apartment complexes.
In addition to improving the comfort levels during the summer months, air balancing may also help increase the air conditioning system’s efficiency, decrease energy bills and wear on HVAC components.
Advantages of Air balancing
- Increase in energy efficiency by managing the condition space instead of losing conditioned air to dead areas and the system working harder to make up for it.
- Better airflow and a better balance will allow for an effective transfer of heat over your coils and maintain a consistent load on a system. If the system needs to run 10% less and pressure balance is accurately managed, this will allow the system to do its job when required and avoid working overtime.
