FAQs
Frequently asked questions.
Answers to common questions about our services, quotes, warranties and servicing. Can’t find what you need? Get in touch.
Which areas do you cover?
Perth and Sydney metro, with regional WA and NSW work by arrangement, and national reach through our vetted subcontractor network.
How do I get a quote?
Use the enquiry form, email admin@treadieshvac.com.au, or send tender documents to tenders@treadieshvac.com.au. Include the site location, scope, timing and any plans or photos.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Treadies Pty Ltd holds ARCtick refrigerant trading authorisation AU52285 and carries public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
Do you supply the equipment?
Yes. We supply and install equipment from leading manufacturers and are a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Dealer.
How often should my air conditioning be serviced?
Residential systems should be inspected at least every 12 months. Commercial plant is serviced to a maintenance schedule based on the equipment, the site and the manufacturer’s requirements.
What does the warranty cover?
Equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which varies by product and application. Our installation work is covered by our workmanship guarantee — terms are confirmed in each quotation.
How long does supply and installation take?
It depends on equipment availability and the size of the job. We confirm lead times with our quotation.
What size system do I need?
Sizing depends on the building, its use, orientation, insulation and glazing. We assess each site rather than guessing from floor area alone.
Split, ducted or VRF — which suits me?
We compare options on comfort, running cost, zoning, aesthetics and maintenance access, then recommend the one that suits the building.
Have a project or building that needs attention?
Send us the site, scope and timing. Tenders, projects, maintenance agreements and service requests go straight to the right team in Perth or Sydney.
